Hello, I am Edgar, I am the owner at Swaggs Inc. I have been grooming for over 16 years, starting in Ventura and eventually moving to Los Angeles County. I have experience working as a groomer in corporations and small grooming shops which allowed me to learn every aspect of the job. I have trained groomers in all industries and helped my trainees learn the proper steps to becoming a groomer by making them start with the basic steps and never overlooking one process before moving to the next. I have always enjoyed Grooming but made sure that everyone I trained knew that it was a very serious job that requires a lot of patience and awareness. I had groomed for so long and at one point I decided to follow my dream to open my own shop. I was lucky to get the opportunity to work with Dr. Y and have made a home here with a business I am proud to call my own. I make sure all the pets groomed are treated with the highest standards and nothing less. The work we do here not only makes sure your pet is styled the best in town, but is also treated with the best care. I have a dog of my own that is named Morena and she is definitely a princess that requires a lot of love and attention. I expect her to be treated like a princess and project the same feelings at work for all the pets that come to us to be groomed. The only way to have the highest standards is to set your own high, including your pets. Please feel free to email me any questions you may have about the process here at Swaggs.

Founder & Owner

Hello, my name is Landon and I currently live in Ventura, Ca. I was born in Colorado and grew up on a small farm where my mother and I had every animal you could have – horses, pigs, goats, chickens, cows, dogs, cats and even a ferret. My passion for animals has always stuck with me but I grew up dreaming of moving to the big city. I moved to Arizona and it didn’t take me long to venture to California, which has now been my home since 2010! I have experience in every job, and as I have gotten older I realized my passion doesn’t involve sitting behind a desk but working with animals. I have been around the grooming industry for a long time and have always enjoyed the challenging work that goes behind taking care of somebody’s “family”. I have specialized in Pet Nutrition which allows me to help solve allergies, hot spots, yeast infections and skin problems through organic methods and dieting! The path that lead me to working at Swaggs is a great one that I would love to share. I had worked with Edgar a few years back where he managed me for a year in a half. Edgar was one of the best managers I have ever had and I was always amazed by his grooming skills. I always kept Edgar close to heart and when I wanted to start grooming I knew there wouldn’t be anyone else I would want to train under! I am so lucky to be grooming with who I call, “Edgar Scissorhands,” and being associated with the Vet Clinic that helped save my dog’s life. I love my dog, Rocco, who is a Dachshund/Terrier mix with a whole lot of attitude, and we take care of every pet as if they are our own.

What’s up! Name’s Kay Cee, 23, from the beautiful Malibu, California. I moved to Houston, TX when I was 18 and started working at an animal boarding/day care facility and fell in love with the animal industry. When I moved back to California, I dabbled in a few different industries but have developed a deeper connection with animals and ultimately decided to pursue dog grooming. My first step into it was at a shop as a bather, then was invited to work in a mobile van, unfortunately it was not what I expected, knowing I was aiming for more structure and a happier and more comfortable environment. After a while I began to miss working in a shop, so amidst finding a new place, Edgar called me and was more than happy to take me under his wing and continue my training. Ever since I’ve started working at Swaggs, my confidence in grooming has sky rocketed knowing my trainer is so patient and makes learning fun! I look forward to giving all your dogs the best treatment during the grooming process!
